About
Hi, I'm Azea.
Thrift hunter, stylist, and the person on the other end of every email.

Growing up watching fashion on TV and seeing the women I love dress for different occasions, I noticed how their outfits changed the way they felt and presented themselves to the world. That's been the thread ever since.
These days I spend most of my week hunting — thrift stores, estate sales, consignment shops. I'm picky. If a piece doesn't meet my bar (condition, cut, wearability, unique, a little bit of magic), it doesn't come home with me. Everything in the shop had to earn its spot.
The rest of the week is styling — 1:1 sessions at the studio, closet cleanups, prepping for pop-ups, and quietly styling women in my community who couldn't otherwise afford it (see Ministry).
I started Walking With Style because God has given me a gift to see women for how they want to walk through the world and I'm finally using it.
What I believe
A few things I'm not flexible on.
Taste over trends
Trends come and go. Your actual style is more durable — and more interesting — than whatever's on a mood board right now.
Honest prices
The shop is priced like a thrift store, not a boutique. Quality pieces, fair numbers.
Real sizes, real bodies
I stock across the size range and style to who you are, not to who Pinterest says you should be.
Second lives for good clothes
Most of what I hunt is clothes someone else loved. Keeping them in rotation is better than another landfill.
